Industrial Immersion Heaters

Immersion heaters are used to heat liquid in an efficient and reliable manner. The standard heater consists of a number of rod elements formed to shape and fitted into a screwed stainless steel or brass head, complete with a thermostat pocket and terminal cover. The heating element is usually looped or coiled and sits inside the tank to heat the liquid around it.

Here at Hedin Heaters, we supply and deliver a wide range of industrial immersion heaters including:

Depending on the type of connection, the size of the tank and your temperature requirements, our team can recommend the perfect type of heater. We will provide you with either one, two or three elements that can be fitted, ensuring you’re always left with a product that works for you. Our immersion heaters are made from either stainless steel or incoloy, and are suitable for heating water and oil.

Smaller heaters are designed for operation of up to 240 volts and with a single-phase supply. Whilst the larger heaters are suitable for up to 440 volts with a three-phase supply.

We have a standard 4″x4″x4″ terminal cover which is rated to IP67 but bespoke heaters can also be made to your specification. Thermostat pockets can be fitted and supplied with the desired temperature range.

Our withdrawable immersion heaters are designed and manufactured to the same high standard as the direct immersion type. The great advantage of these heaters is that the element may be replaced by simply removing the terminal box and withdrawing. There is no necessity to dismantle the unit from the tank, nor drain the liquid.
